In the Alienation Zone, every stalker faces huge risks: from aggressive mutants to dangerous anomalies. To survive in these conditions, it is important not only to have a good weapon, but also reliable armor. Exoskeleton “Pantsir” is one of the most powerful protective models in Stalker 2, providing excellent protection against physical and radiation threats, as well as the more dangerous Psi radiation.
This guide will explain where you can find the Panzer exoskeleton, how to improve it, as well as where to find the necessary blueprints and technicians to modify the armor.
Characteristics of the Panzer exoskeleton
Pantsir exoskeleton was developed with the support of the group “Duty” and is an excellent choice for survival in the most dangerous parts of the Zone.
Here are the main characteristics of the exoskeleton:
- Type: Suit
- Weight: 10.5 kg
- Artifact Slots: 3
- Cost: 97,500 coupons
- Strength: 845
Defense:
- Thermal Defense: 60
- Electrical Protection: 60
- Chemical protection: 60

The Exoskeleton is particularly useful when fighting mutants and anomalies, such as Psi Emitters and Mind-affecting Controllers. While the Panzer does not provide the same level of protection against the Psi effects as the SEWA suit, it is still more than enough for most tasks.
Where to find the Panzer exoskeleton
To obtain the Panzer exoskeleton, one has to go to the Cooling Towers. It is located in the ACS building, on the top shelf, in the stash marked on the map as “Normal Stash”. To find the suit, follow the steps below:
- Enter the building and go up the stairs on the left side.
- On the first floor, move forward and go up the yellow stairs.
- Go straight ahead and on the shelf on the left side you will find a Shell exoskeleton and a regular stash.
You can now use the exoskeleton to defend against the many threats in the Zone, increasing your survivability and effectiveness in combat.
How to find a technician to repair your exoskeleton
The exoskeleton needs repairs and improvements to remain effective over time. To do this, you need to find a technician named Harpia, who is located in the Yaniv area. To find the Harpy, follow the steps below:
- Enter the building and move to the room on the right.
- In the second room, you will find Batya, a technician who will offer exoskeleton repair services.
- Approach Batya, press the “E” key to open the menu of improvements.
How to improve the exoskeleton “Panzer”
Technician Batya can offer several improvements for the exoskeleton to increase its performance. Here are examples of enhancements and their cost:
All-Titanium Components:
- +10% to physical defense
- +15% to durability
- Cost: 7,500 coupons
Protective Coating:
- -1 kg of weight
- +20% to durability

Lightweight materials:
- -1 kg of weight
- Cost: 15,000 coupons
Nickel thermal storage:

Each enhancement increases the exoskeleton’s effectiveness, improving its defenses and reducing weight, making it even more useful in the Zone’s harsh environments.
How to get the blueprint for the exoskeleton upgrade
In order to access additional upgrades, you will first need the Hazardous Gas Elimination System blueprint which will enhance your exoskeleton. This blueprint is located in an abandoned house which is situated in the Rookie Village on Cordon.
- Find the ruined house with a collapsed roof.
- Jump onto the roof using the fence as a support.
- The blueprint is on the right side of the roof, in the usual stash.
This blueprint allows you to upgrade the exoskeleton by adding a toxic elimination system, which will greatly increase your defense against chemical threats.
The Panzer exoskeleton is one of the best ways through which a person’s life is enhanced especially in the Alienation Zone. It will offer the stalker all the necessary protection that is needed against all forms of threats such as the aggressive mutants and the Psi radiation. They can be made more powerful in terms of performance and protection with enhancements and upgrades to be used in combat as well as for protection. Do not forget to search for the right technicians and blueprints in order to enhance your armor as much as possible and get prepared for all the risks that may occur in the Zone.
